Where is registration and when does it begin?

Registration is held at Tumwater Historical Park from 7:30 am to 8:45 am under the Picnic Shelter on June 2nd.

Where does the race begin?

At Tumwater Historical Park.

What time do the races begin?

The 5K run begins at 9:00am

The 3K walk begins at 9:05am

The 1/2K kids run begins at 10am

Course Description:

The 5K course begins at Tumwater Historical Park and follows the trail along the grass, up the paved trail along the river, and turning right onto Deschutes Parkway.  It thens follows Deschutes Parkway under the 1-5 overpass toward the Interpretive Center & Marathon Park.  Just before Marathon Park, the course turns around and heads south on Deschutes Parkway, turning left at the Interpretive Center and following the trail along the lake and under the I-5 overpass.  The course ends where it began and puts you near the band and post-event food.  You can see a map of the course here.

The 3K course begins at Tumwater Historical Park and follows the Capitol Lake trail under the 1-5 overpass toward the Interpretive Center where it turns around and heads back to the Historical Park via the nature trail.

How can I register?

Visit our website and register online with a credit card or you can download a pdf file of the registration form and mail it with your check.

How much is it to register?

The registration fee is $25 per runner if you register on or before May 22, 2012.  There will be a late fee of an additional $5 for entries submitted after May 22, 2012 and for race-day registration.

When is the final day for online registration?

May 30th.

Will I be able to register the day of the race?

Race-day registration is available for an extra $5.  There will be a limited supply of t-shirts available for runners who register on race-day.

How do I know if I am registered?

You will receive an e-mail confirming your race registration.

Are entry fees refundable or transferable?

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but you can be happy to know that your donation will be supporting the Northwest Rett Syndrome Foundation.

Are there t-shirts for runners?

Yes.  We will have technical (moisture wicking) t-shirts for all runners.  These shirts will come in male, female, and youth sizes. Requested t-shirt sizes will not be guaranteed for runners who register after May 22, 2012.

Is the race officially timed?

Yes, our 5K race is officially timed by Guerilla Timing.
