You may notice that we have a new name and a new look!
The board voted to change the branding strategy of the Foundation following the 2018 Annual General Meeting, which took place on Saturday of the Conference to make it more inclusive and representative of what we actually do.
The girl symbol was replaced with a heart shaped pair of hands holding each other with new colors representing the main mission of our organization: Connection, Education and Advocacy. In addition, color schemes and promotional materials were updated to reflect these as well.
The name change was essential. Foundations have lots of money and they give it away. Associations need money and are knit together by a common purpose and goal. We are an association of families in the Northwest affected by Rett Syndrome.
We hope that this fresh new focus brings in some much needed energy to fulfill priorities which will benefit all of you, our families.
Please feel free to reach out to us at nwrettsyndrome@gmail.com and consider donating your time and talents to support the NWRSA.
Sincerely,
NWRSA Board.
