From the NWRSA Newsletter:
It is with deep disappointment that we have to announce the cancellation of the 2020 Family Conference and RSO Rett Ed Day. Due to the uncertainty of the times, the NWRSA Board decided that our resources could be utilized more effectively by offering support to families at home and redirecting our efforts to an online solution.
In lieu of an in-person conference we are actively looking and planning for activities and presentations accessible via the web. Currently we are brainstorming social hours, webinars with specialists, and other avenues to present and educate our families. As always, your suggestions are welcome! If you have already registered for the conference we will refund your registration fees, unless you would like to donate it, in which case we are sincerely thankful! Program fees can used to make our online-only program successful.
Lastly, we would like to encourage you to participate in Jackbox Trivia online, hosted by the Siblings Committee. Details can be found on our Facebook and will be posted when an upcoming event takes place. It’s fun for all ages, and you just need a computer to stream the game (either for watching or for playing) and your phone to play the game (by answering trivia questions, or voting).
We appreciate all of our members and believe the safety of our families is most important during this health crisis.
